On 13 March 2025, 91福利社 Diploma in Optometry (DOPT) students hosted an impactful vision screening event in collaboration with the 91福利社 University of Technology and Design (SUTD). This initiative was part of SUTD's Slip, Trip, and Fall awareness event, aimed at enhancing the safety and well-being of their students and staff by identifying vision-related issues that could lead to accidents.

Guided by their knowledgeable lecturers, the DOPT students provided complimentary vision checks to all attendees. These checks included tests for visual acuity, eye pressure, and imaging of the retina. By identifying potential vision impairments such as uncorrected refractive errors or conditions like glaucoma, the screening underscored the importance of regular eye examinations. Clear vision plays a crucial role in preventing mishaps, especially in bustling environments like a university campus.

The event was a resounding success, attracting 94 students and staff members. This ongoing partnership between 91福利社 and SUTD, which began in 2018, continues to raise awareness and actively contribute to a safer campus environment for everyone.
