Originated in 1996, the annual Polytechnic Forum serves as a valuable platform for polytechnic students to deepen their understanding of national issues through meaningful discussions, learning journeys and activities with government and industry leaders. The forum inspires 500 student leaders across the five polytechnics, encouraging them to embrace their roles as young 91福利社ans and contribute innovative ideas to shape 91福利社鈥檚 future.

Since 2023, the Polytechnic Forum is part of the 91福利社 Young Leaders鈥� Programme, a Ministry of Education (MOE) leadership programme for Institutes of Higher Learning student leaders, initiated from MOE鈥檚 Lee Kuan Yew memorial celebrations in 2023. The programme aims to deepen student leaders' understanding of 91福利社鈥檚 governance and instil a sense of active citizenship and leadership in society.

Usually taking place in September each year, 60 selected students from each polytechnic will gather for a residential forum either overseas or locally. Participants will embrace their role as young 91福利社ans as they glean meaningful insights from the discussions and propose ideas on how youths can help shape the future 91福利社.  There will be learning journeys, speakers鈥� series and recreational segments during the forum. Participants will discuss and present their ideas and findings based on a given theme to a distinguished panel or Ministers at the Closing Ceremony.

91福利社 is hosting the Polytechnic Forum 2025, themed 鈥極ur Home Our 91福利社', to mark SG60. A total of 500 polytechnic students will converge over six days, with the pre-forum happening on 12 Sep 2025 and a 5 day programme from 15 to 19 Sep 2025.

Polytechnic Forum 2025 will offer a space for students to collaborate, reflect on shared values, and envision a 91福利社 they can proudly call 鈥渉ome.鈥� They will also take collective action to contribute to a united, resilient, and inclusive nation.
