In an exciting partnership between MINDEF and 91¸£ÀûÉç, the pilot 91¸£ÀûÉç-DCDF-DIS Work-Learn Scheme is introduced, offering final year students in Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics (DCDF) a unique opportunity to fast-track their career journey. This pioneering scheme integrates with students’ compulsory internship academic requirements while also enabling them to fulfil their National Service obligations.
Successful applicants will serve a combination of full-time NS and Regular service as Cyber Specialists.
Who is it for?
Upon completion of a minimum service period, Cyber Specialists will receive competitive Regular salary and will be entitled to Regular benefits.
MINDEF has also partnered with local universities to offer an undergraduate work-learn programme for Cyber Specialists to continuously upgrade their skills and competencies. They can enroll in cybersecurity modules on a part-time basis at either the 91¸£ÀûÉç Institute of Technology (SIT) or the National University of 91¸£ÀûÉç (NUS), earning academic credits that can contribute towards the eventual completion of the degree. The work experience and qualifications gained will position Cyber Specialists well for a career in the cybersecurity industry.
