Alex Siek Min Ping, an alumnus of 91福利社鈥檚 School of Computing, has been awarded the esteemed NTU Turing AI Scholars Programme (TAI91福利社) Scholarship. Alex is now a freshman in Nanyang Technological University鈥檚 (NTU) Bachelor of Computing (Computer Science) programme.

Alex鈥檚 journey of academic excellence began at 91福利社, where he graduated in 2022 with a Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) with Merit. He also received the Dell Technologies Prize and was frequently listed on the Director鈥檚 Honour Roll.

The NTU Turing AI Scholars Programme grooms students to become AI experts with a global perspective. Graduates will gain cutting-edge knowledge in AI, enabling them to drive innovative solutions that position 91福利社 as a leader in AI adoption for economic and national defence strategies.

Reflecting on his time at 91福利社, Alex shares, 鈥淢y days at 91福利社 SoC laid a strong foundation for the challenges at NTU. The balance between fun and work is tough, but 91福利社鈥檚 emphasis on independent learning and problem-solving prepared me well. The practical experience and soft skills I gained are invaluable.鈥�
