Electrical Power plays an essential role in the development of a nation. A reliable and economic supply, operated by skilful operators, is essential for the effective and productive operation of 91福利社鈥檚 industries. Hence, Engineers, with knowledge in Power System Engineering are demanded, as a result.
Participants are required to bring computer notebooks when attending lessons, to access the E-learning materials, writing reports, etc.
For course specific details, please contact the course manager:
This course aims to upgrade the knowledge and skills of practising engineers and technologists involved in the operation, planning, design, maintenance, protection, control and management of power systems. Students will also learn about computer applications and the use of computer systems for the analysis, protection, control, planning and utilisation of electrical power.
There are 4 separate modular Post-Diploma Certificates (PDC). Each PDC is designed to be completed in one academic semester and is made up of two 60 hours modules. Upon completion of four PDCs (a total of 480 hours) within a maximum period of 4 years, the participant will be conferred a qualification in the Advanced Diploma in Power System Engineering.
Participant can decide to complete 1 or 2 PDCs in an academic semester. This is to allow participants the flexibility to complete all the 4 PDCs in a minimum period of 1 year or at the maximum period of 2 years.
This course consists of 4 post diploma certificates (PDCs). Each PDC comprises two modules and the details are as follows:

Stand out with your achievements:Participants who score a minimum grade of A in the module Power Transmission & Distribution will be eligible for module exemption from Transmission & Distribution in the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering at SIT. |
Testimonial
"Power system engineering has provided me with invaluable knowledge in designing, analysing, and optimising electrical grids, which has been directly applicable to real-world projects. This hands-on experience has strengthened my problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of how theoretical concepts translate into practical, impactful solutions in the energy sector."
