Course Objective
The goal of this course is to provide participants with a thorough understanding and the necessary abilities to create a simplified version of a structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) blueprint for their workplace. Participants will learn how to define the scope of work, implement skill development through workplace training processes, identify key factors for a successful blueprint, develop a simple OJT checklist, and assess the effectiveness of OJT within an organisation through review and evaluation.
By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to design a simplified structured OJT (S-OJT) Lite blueprint that meets the specific needs of their workplace, especially for IHLs’ internship programme and yet ensuring ease of development and implementation.
Participants will be able to apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) tools (e.g. Open AI ChatGPT) to streamline and enhance the development of OJT task analysis.
