Course Objective

In this 1-day course, participants will learn the principles of using solar panel to produce electricity, understanding two common types of solar PV systems in use, selection of the main components of a solar system (solar panels, inverters, charge controller &battery), design and connection of a solar system. The course is hands-on based and conducted in the laboratory and site.

Rapid growth in demand for solar power also prompts Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Engineers and Technicians be equipped with the knowledge and technical skills for deploying solar power systems and operating them. Other professionals and non-technical people will also benefit from knowing the technology's sustainable applications.

Hence, this 1-day course aims preparing these people for designing, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems.
