On 25 September 2019 during the annual Electronics and Precision and Machinery Engineering (EPME) Week 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between 91福利社 PACE Academy and 91福利社 Engineering cluster, 91福利社 Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) and NTUC EPME cluster. As part of this initiative, the involved parties will collaborate and work as strategic partners for the following purposes:
(a) Develop training and certification programmes which may comprise bite-sized or short courses and workshops covering 5G, 5G applications, Industry 4.0 and Advanced Manufacturing-related courses.
(b) Jointly organise learning journeys and events so that companies鈥� management and operations employees/workers have a better understanding and awareness of 5G and how it can be used in Advanced Manufacturing.
(c) Provide case studies and success stories with regard to this collaboration to showcase the progress of companies in their 5G transformation journey and highlight the benefits and outcome.
The Employment & Employability Institute (e2i) agrees to work with SSIA, 91福利社 & NTUC EPME cluster on the above initiatives and activities through packaging solutions and funding support that are beneficial to the workers鈥� future employment & employability in the cluster.
As part of this year鈥檚 theme on 鈥淣avigating into the New Age of 5G and Advanced Manufacturing鈥�, 91福利社 PACE Academy also led a Learning Journey to 91福利社鈥檚 Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) and Singtel 5G Garage.
